    About

    Skin Overrides lets you change how player skins and capes appear in-game, for roleplay, skin artistry, testing looks, or creating screenshots and videos. Its overrides screen lets you select yourself or another player and apply, edit, or remove an override using an image file or an entry from your personal library. The library organizes saved skins and capes for quick switching; you can add image files or look up a player's skin or cape by username, and preview a profile with its cape, elytra, or no accessory. When the mod is installed on a server, your own library-based override can be shared with everyone there, including players without the mod; file-based overrides are not synced. You can also change your own skin globally from in-game, with server-installed Skin Overrides making the change visible to other players online without requiring you to leave and rejoin. The mod is designed to work alongside other skin-related mods, including Ears and 3D Skin Layers.
