    About

    Sort It Out! makes it easier to organize inventory contents with configurable sorting that can be triggered by double-clicking an empty slot, clicking an on-screen sort button, or using a keybind. Sorting behavior can be customized by inverting the order and choosing a sequence of item-stack comparators, which are applied in turn to break ties. The mod works when installed on the client, the server, or both; server-only installation lets even vanilla clients sort and adjust their preferences, while client-only installation enables sorting on servers without the mod. Players can configure preferences through an in-game screen or, without a client installation, the /sortitout command; preferences persist across rejoins and server restarts. Sort button locations can also be customized through data-driven definitions, and the slot-click trigger can be changed from double-clicking an empty slot to clicking the offhand key while hovering over a slot.
