Strange Berries adds unusual berry varieties and bushes that players can discover, harvest, cultivate, eat, and use in brewing. The berries grant effects ranging from Swiftness, Haste, Strength, healing, regeneration, and leaping to Night Vision, Fire Resistance, Invisibility, Water Breathing, Dolphin’s Grace, Absorption, and Levitation; Golden Berries are crafted by surrounding another berry with gold blocks. Bushes appear in fitting environments, including speed bushes in forests, strength bushes in taiga, fire-berry bushes in Nether forests, and sea or dolphin berry bushes underwater, while some berries come from fruitful bushes or crafting instead. Several bushes have hazards or special interactions: harvesting a Crimson Fire Berry Bush sets the player alight, a Warped Fire Berry Bush may teleport them nearby, and the Night Berry Bush can only be harvested at night and blinds players who enter it during the day. The Fruitful Berry Bush yields either healing or regeneration berries and restores health to players who walk into it, while these bushes also damage undead mobs. Berries can be planted to grow their corresponding bushes, with different bushes requiring suitable ground such as stone, deepslate, sculk, or gold blocks. Most berries can be brewed into effect potions using a Stagnant Water Potion, made by brewing Rotten Berries with a water bottle; special recipes include Golden Berries for Luck, Resistance Berries with Slowness for a Turtle Master Potion, and Ascending Berries for Slow Falling. Eating six Strange Berries in a day triggers Berry Poisoning, which periodically damages the player and typically lasts about 40 seconds; Rotten Berries can also set the poisoning level to its maximum. Crimson and Warped Fire Berries can set animals on fire temporarily, and Dolphin Berries can be fed to dolphins.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
