    About

    YUNG's Better Desert Temples redesigns Minecraft's desert temples as larger challenges featuring puzzles, traps, and parkour, with improved loot for completing them. The temples culminate in a pharaoh fight; by default, players inside a temple have mining fatigue until they defeat the pharaoh, after which the effect is permanently lifted for that temple, and this behavior can be disabled in the config. The redesign includes spaces such as an armory and a main chamber, and temples can appear largely uncovered or almost entirely buried. Configuration can also allow vanilla desert temples to generate alongside the redesigned ones.
