    About

    Swimming Horses lets you stay mounted and ride horses through water without sinking or being thrown off, making river crossings easier while keeping swimming close to vanilla behavior. If your horse is submerged, including in a bubble column, it can remain under your control and swim back to the surface when able. The mod also allows mounted travel through lava, which requires fire resistance preparation. It is compatible with Horse Buff and improves its swimming behavior with smooth animations; disable Horse Buff’s built-in swimming mechanism to use the two together.
