Tails lets players personalize their Minecraft characters with tails, ears, and wings, including variant subtypes. Its in-game editor lets players customize each part with up to three full-RGB tints, while distinctive tail animations give the additions movement and character. Tails is primarily client-side; an optional server component syncs tails between clients, and players can also export a skin using otherwise unused pixels so other mod users can see the tail even when the server does not have Tails installed.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Warning: it downloads code over an unencrypted connection (http) from addons-origin.cursecdn.com. Someone on the same network could replace it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Only in its files for 1.7.10 to 1.9.4.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
A Warning is not proof of malware. The download stays available.
This lowers its grade: −6 points, B at most.
Wrong result? Tell us.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
