About
The Ferret Business is a narrative modpack about helping a stranded assistant survive on an unknown world and support the corporation that sent them there, while searching for a possible way home. After a teleportation test goes wrong, the player can communicate with headquarters and exchange items through a QUEST Tablet, but cannot yet be brought back or joined by other staff. The corporation’s work spans technology, magic, farming, cooking, and life and death, with researchers, scientists, and wizards collaborating to make discoveries on the strange world. The story frames the player’s work as a career progression, offering payment, rewards, accolades, and the possibility of advancement within the company.
