About
Talismans 2 adds wearable talismans that grant their wearer buffs or protective effects. Its regular talismans cover mining, movement, flame, light, water, invisibility, and protection from wither, with effects including Haste II, Speed II and Jump Boost II, Fire Resistance II, Night Vision, Water Breathing II, and Wither-effect removal. When Blood Magic is installed, blood talismans offer stronger mining and movement effects, and the Blood Witherless Talisman also removes Poison; the flame, light, water, and invisibility versions provide the same effects as their regular counterparts. Blood talismans are linked to a player's blood network by shift-right-clicking, and drain Life Essence while active, so maintaining a sufficient reserve is necessary for their effects. Crafting talismans with Thaumcraft or Blood Magic is configurable, and those mods are not dependencies for the regular talismans.
