Villagers speak with recorded voices instead of their usual sounds.
63.8 of the 71 points that apply = 90 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Talking Villagers gives villagers and other village-related mobs recorded voices, replacing their usual sounds with spoken lines that respond to everyday interactions and events. Villagers greet nearby players, chat and gossip with one another, comment on their work, trades and the weather, and react to danger by calling for help, warning each other, or whispering while hiding from raids. They can also cheer players fighting nearby monsters, celebrate victories, and respond to life events such as curing, having children, or becoming a Hero of the Village. Wandering traders greet players and comment on trades before disappearing with an invisibility potion, while witches, pillagers, vindicators, evokers and illusioners have lines for their own actions, from battle taunts and patrol orders to spellcasting and the evoker’s “wololo” for blue sheep. Voices are supplied in installable voicepacks, and the mod assigns each entity a voice suited to its type while giving it a consistent personal pitch; villagers keep their assigned voices, and babies receive child voices before getting new adult voices as they grow up. Voicepacks can provide multiple languages, and village language settings let villagers share a language, including passing it from parent to child. Players can manage packs in game, preview their lines, adjust voice volume and subtitles, and use the browser-based web editor to record and make their own packs. On multiplayer servers, the server controls which voices are used and can offer its voicepacks to joining players; players without the mod still hear vanilla sounds.
Written from the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas, as a library other mods build on: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 11 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and SoundChanges 1 game code file in this area: playing sounds, music and the sound engine..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
