    About

    Tameable Foxes lets players make foxes into companions, either by taming them with glow berries or breeding them with sweet berries so that the baby trusts the player, a behavior enabled by default and adjustable in the configuration. Tamed foxes can help in combat, follow their owner for favorite food, sit, teleport to the player, and stop hunting chickens and rabbits; they also beg for berries by turning to look at their owner. Players can pet their foxes, and foxes retain their anger when told to sit and make aggressive sounds. Configuration options include adjusting the taming item, preventing foxes from picking up selected items, and deciding whether untamed foxes can be tempted with fox-related items. With Companion installed, foxes can travel through portals and teleport to their owner before a chunk unloads, and they stop attacking when their health falls below 20 percent. Ecologics compatibility keeps tamed foxes from attacking squirrels, while Vulpine is incompatible with the mod.
