Adds an Earth-replica world type based on real-world data.

Terrarium adds a customizable world type that generates an Earth replica using real-world geographic data, at a configurable scale rather than a one-to-one block representation. Its terrain can depict real places and landforms, including the Swiss Alps, Wadi Rum, Krakatoa, Mount Kilimanjaro, Rio de Janeiro, Mount Fuji, the Grand Canyon and the Himalayas. A world-creation interface lets you adjust generation settings and preview the result around a selected spawn point; survival resources such as ores can be enabled, since the default preset does not generate them. You can travel by latitude and longitude or place name with /geotp, while /geotool offers a location map and map-based teleportation; its client-side features are optional for players joining a server running Terrarium. Geographic data is downloaded as you explore and cached locally, so visiting new areas requires an internet connection and may cause loading delays; downloaded areas can be revisited from the cache. Optional Cubic Chunks support allows greater terrain height range, avoiding the vanilla height limits that can otherwise cut off parts of the generated Earth.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 6 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
