    About

    Thaumcraft 4 Tweaks is an addon that improves Thaumcraft 4’s interface, performance, and reliability rather than adding a separate content progression. In the research table, players can scroll through the aspect list with the mouse wheel, and they can also scroll through the Thaumonomicon’s descriptive pages, recipes, and arcane construct illustrations instead of clicking through them. The Thaumonomicon interface can be scaled through a configuration option, and research tabs can be reordered using the mod’s configuration menu. Performance improvements target lag around the Arcane Workbench, including throttling crafting-result updates, as well as wand recharging, alchemical furnaces, and energized nodes checking for relays. An optional, runtime-toggleable optimization can stop the Arcane Workbench from acting as a normal crafting table, reducing a major source of lag in large modpacks while changing that behavior. The addon also fixes a crash that could occur when a wand retained a focus from a Thaumcraft addon that had since been removed.
