About
ThaumTweaks is a Thaumcraft 6 addon that reworks progression and rewards to make the experience more engaging and its challenges more rewarding. It adjusts combat and exploration rewards with stronger armor, vis-consuming buffs, improved bands of curiosity and fortress masks, Fortune-enhanced rare earth drops, and more effective but more expensive infusion stones; curiosities can also come from taint seeds, golems, and clearing warp. The addon adds practical automation and item handling: golems can activate infusion matrices, an Arcane Crafter automates Arcane Workbench recipes using inserted items and vis crystals, research tables can draw from nearby containers, and smelteries can use hoppers. Other changes include a runic shield that charges from the player's inventory, a Primal Crusher that mines a 5-by-5 area, a faster and more useful void siphon, configurable Pech trades, the ability to merge primordial nodes into pearls, and comparator signals from occupied pedestals. Crafting changes and the addon’s features are configurable, and Arcane Crafter recipes still require the corresponding research.
