About
Thaumic Periphery extends Thaumcraft 6 with cross-mod integrations, additional baubles, and adjustments to existing features. It adds caster’s gauntlets that use Embers ember or Botania mana instead of vis, and baubles including the Mundane and Fancy Belts and Amulets, Focus Pouch, Vis Stone, Amulet of Vis, and Brass Gear. Other baubles bring distinct effects: the Pauldron adds armor and toughness, the Pauldron of Repulsion knocks back nearby mobs when its wearer is hit, and the Malignant Heart boosts attack damage while reducing maximum life. The Conjurer’s Quiver can use vis to supply magical arrows to bows when no other ammunition is available, while the Vis Phylactery stores up to 300 vis and charges items when the local aura has at least 50 vis. The mod can render supported Thaumcraft baubles, with that rendering configurable, and supports Botania’s Phantom Ink for the baubles it renders. When Mystical Mechanics API and a copper-adding mod are present, it can change the alchemical brass recipe to use copper instead of iron; this recipe change can be disabled in the config.
