    About

    ThDilos Fox Origin Expanded adds five late-game evolutions to the author's basic fox origin for Origins: Lightning Fox, Fire Fox, Ice Fox, Kitsune and Ninetails. Players unlock them through in-game milestones: a 1% chance after being struck by lightning, completing 21 Nether advancements for Fire Fox, visiting all nine frozen, snowy or icy biomes for Ice Fox, or reaching positive or negative 200% karma for Kitsune or Ninetails. Karma changes with survival, moonlight, combat, taming, breeding, golden food and death, so the two karma-based evolutions reflect different patterns of play. Advancements show unlocking criteria, and players can switch freely between their default fox and any evolution they have unlocked. Each evolution adds its own abilities: Lightning Fox uses electric attacks such as Discharge, Electric Beam and Railgun; Fire Fox wields fire magic and gains fire- and lava-oriented traits; and Ice Fox launches controllable ice shards and uses Blizzard and Ice Shield. Kitsune and Ninetails share enhanced pouncing and a selectable skill set, but Kitsune emphasizes mobility and information gathering while Ninetails specializes in combat. Their other abilities include Kitsune's Ascension, which enables phasing and movement through the air, and Ninetails' Wraith Form, alongside nine-slot tail storage that preserves items on death.
