    About

    The Mushroom Update brings vanilla-style mushroom-themed content to Minecraft, expanding an underused part of the game with additions for survival and building. It adds four items and three blocks spanning equipment, food, music utility, and decoration, along with new music and a painting. Four new mobs join the world: the Glow Shroom Cow, Glow Fly, Mushroom Pals, and Puff Creeper; their mechanics support building, combat, redstone, and survival play. The update introduces Shroom Caves, home to the Mushroom Pals, and peaceful Glow Shroom Caves where players can avoid monsters and recover health. Eight advancements provide additional goals, and an included resource pack supplies trailer-style textures for use on their own or alongside another pack.
