A miniboss that disguises itself as a creeper.
12.6 of the 61 points that apply = 21 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
The Spider Creeper adds a horror-tinged, vanilla-like miniboss that disguises itself as an ordinary creeper, stalking players instead of exploding; spider-like footsteps, its tendency to linger near spiders, and a Spider Tracker that makes nearby spiders glow can help reveal it. In its fight, it can run and climb at high speed, poison players with its attacks, summon speed-boosted creepers, and trap players in webs. Defeating one can yield a Creeper Heart, which can be crafted into items or used directly for 16 gunpowder, and a Spider Creeper Head trophy. The Creeper Heart crafts Instant TNT, which requires a redstone signal and explodes immediately with more power than regular TNT, and a Cobweb Sword that deals 8 damage, poisons targets, and can trap nearby entities in webs when used on the ground. The Cobweb Sword can also prevent a mimicking Spider Creeper from transforming when struck, while the Poison Ring blocks poison as long as it is in the player's inventory. A Spider Charm can turn a creeper into a Spider Creeper when used on it, and the Spider Tracker can also reveal Spider Creepers among nearby spiders.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
