Sons of Sins is a dark fantasy mod about necromancy and the seven deadly sins, built around harvesting souls, blood, and organs to create new life through occult rituals. Its hostile Sin creatures are Wistiver, Walking Bed, Prowler, Kelvin, Curse, Blüd, and Butcher, each with distinct behavior; for example, Wistiver grows stronger with each kill, while Blüd attacks from its blood puddle with clotted-blood projectiles. Defeating these creatures yields unique relics, including the Wistiver’s Jaws, which grows stronger with each strike, and the Butcher Cleaver, which gains power as your health falls. Osseous tools turn part of the souls of slain mobs into Ether Ash, which combines with iron to make Soul Steel, while the Sickle of Struggle collects blood and lets you harvest organs from slain enemies. Eating organs grants temporary abilities, such as Creeper ribs that trigger an explosion on death and Enderman muscles that teleport you when attacked; a Golem Cuirass instead grants resistance and immunity to fall damage. To create a Gulbèr, place chosen organs, Ether Ash, and a bottle of blood in a Flesh Carcass and drop it into a blood pool; the creature bonds with the nearest player and gains abilities from its organs. The blood used in the ritual also shapes the Gulbèr: blood from winged mobs can give it flight and healing bites, aquatic blood lets it swim and attack rapidly, and blood from large, heavy mobs can make it a mount that tramples enemies.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's core shaders.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Mods that modpacks often add together with Sons of Sins. Share: how many of the modpacks with Sons of Sins also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 3 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 4 points.
