Tunes n' Tomes expands Iron Spells n' Spellbooks with the Melodic School, a reworked and expanded take on the Sound School from Alshanex Familiars. Casting a sound spell leaves a Segno marker; markers interact with spells, and with full Bard Armor equipped, each marker resonates by recasting the sound spell, with more distant markers taking longer to respond. Its offensive spells include Chord Blast, which prevents listeners from evading; Crescendo, which damages and stuns; Grand Finale, which traps enemies before an explosive attack; and Sonata, a fast-paced damaging song. Other spells hinder foes with sleep, deafness, or knockback: Serenade lulls nearby enemies, Slumber Note sends a sleep-inducing projectile, Clamor Note deafens its target, Fortissimo knocks enemies back and deafens them, while Harmonic Aria and Piercing Solo inflict deafness with a beam or a nearby melody. The school also supports allies: Celestial Chant heals and protects, Rhapsody summons birds that grant a temporary boost, and Hymn of Hope grants different benefits based on allies' health, from stronger attacks to damage immunity for a short time. Dal Segno teleports the caster to the nearest Segno marker, Swift Melody places a marker at the aimed position and can teleport the caster back to it, and Encore makes a targeted player recast their last spell. The addon includes Bard Armor and a staff; a more powerful Melodic Mastery armor set can be revealed through configuration for modpacks with postgame content.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
