About
Weather 2 Remastered is a fan-maintained update to Weather2 that adds fixes and new features while expanding its local storms and tornadoes. Its weather includes rainstorms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, sandstorms, and tornadoes, with tornadoes reaching EF-6 and higher; storms can also develop into fire tornadoes, hail-bearing systems, and unusually large or violent events. Storm fronts move with storms, while wind can push players and tornadoes or hurricanes can pick up blocks, items, mobs, and players, making severe weather a direct environmental hazard. Upgraded cloud and storm visuals include detailed rain clouds, lowered wall clouds, changing tornado shapes, heavy rain, fog, lightning, and environmental particles, with a scene enhancer adding further atmospheric effects. Players can tune graphics, storm frequency and behavior, and weather rules for individual dimensions through configuration menus; options include particle and storm render distance, whether tornadoes, hurricanes, and sandstorms spawn, and whether storms can grab blocks or entities. The mod also provides weather sensors and equipment, plus an integration that lets storms pick up vehicles from MrCrayfish's Vehicle Mod.
