About
Woods and Mires adds Nordic-inspired pine forests, mires and fells, along with variants, to the world, and adds new foliage to vanilla biomes. Its pine forests range from lush, flower-filled woods to old-growth stands with thick, tall trees, as well as snowy forests and piny groves. Pine mires are open, waterlogged terrain with short shrubs and dead pine snags, while the cold, rugged fells have sparse vegetation, birch shrubs, moss and lichen; rare ores may appear in fell lakes, and snowy fells can hide frozen treasures. The added flowers include yellow tansies in temperate areas, pink fireweed in forests and open areas, and heathers in taigas and pine forests.
