A horror modpack where creatures hunt you through a dark world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 59 graded mods, 41 are graded A or B, 8 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 2.8 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
All The Horrors is a horror-focused Minecraft modpack that turns exploration into a tense survival experience, with old and new mobs hunting the player as day gives way to night. It combines that atmosphere with quality-of-life and optimization mods, and includes the Insanity Shader by default to create a dark, unsettling look. The pack also supports shaders, with Sildur’s, BSL, and Complementary Shaders Reimagined listed as alternatives.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 21 Jan 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 20 Nov 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 62 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 60 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 60 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
