Ancient Times started as a small project by me and my friends. We wanted to add more mods, but we thought about the limitations of low-spec computers. I'll be bringing more updates and newer versions soon. Stay tuned and I hope you enjoy it :D
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 56 graded mods, 28 are graded A or B, 10 C and 18 D to F. Its last update came out 6 months ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 25 Apr 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 4 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
A Warning in 1 project
We checked 56 of its 59 projects, without running them.
A Warning is not proof of malware.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Wrong result? Tell us.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 48 of its 49 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 2 of the 28 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
1 other mod shows AI use only from after this release (25 Apr 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
21 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
