The Twilight Forest is an adventure and exploration mod that adds a densely forested dimension reached through a portal, with perpetually dim twilight skies and an enchanted, fairy-tale atmosphere. Its varied biomes include the dense, dark-canopied Dark Forest, the rare Enchanted Forest with color-shifting foliage and Rainbow Oak trees, mushroom-filled forests, and the swampy Fire Swamp. Exploration leads through hollow hills, caves, ruins, and dungeons, including Naga Courtyards, Lich Towers, and Goblin Knight Strongholds, where treasure and unique loot await. The dimension features elaborate boss encounters, including the Naga, Twilight Lich, Minoshroom, Hydra, and Knight Phantoms, with progression challenges that gate access to dangerous areas and landmarks. For example, defeating the Twilight Lich removes the Dark Forest’s darkness barrier, while defeating Knight Phantoms opens the Dark Forest Center and its Dark Tower. A Magic Map helps explorers distinguish the dimension’s areas by color and locate their position and major or minor landmarks. The landscape also has distinctive oversized trees: Canopy Trees form broad walkable leaf cover, while Robust Twilight Oaks can conceal leaf dungeons among their branches.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
Claude Code is named in the ignore list of its repository.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with The Twilight Forest: their authors or The Twilight Forest's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as The Twilight Forest, so you only need one.
