Survive a ruined Earth and build a ship to reach the stars.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 49 graded mods, 11 are graded A or B, 6 C and 32 D to F. Its last update came out 11.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Blast Off is a survival and space-exploration modpack framed as a mission to escape a devastated Earth: after waking from hypersleep, you follow ROBIT’s guidance to gather materials and build a NASA interplanetary vessel to rejoin humanity in space. The starting world is portrayed as hazardous, with poor or lethal air, scarce viable mineral resources, negligible plant life, dangerous nocturnal predators, and extreme storms. Progression includes mining-level advancement for pickaxes, which begin below their full harvest level and gain experience through mining; mob heads can raise a pickaxe’s mining level immediately. The pack combines engineering and resource systems such as BuildCraft, Applied Energistics, Mekanism, Ender IO, Botania, and Tinkers’ Construct with spaceflight through Galacticraft. Exploration and survival additions include Roguelike Dungeons and Ruins, meteor impacts, hazardous weather, hostile mobs, and Hardcore Questing Mode. Death uses vanilla hardcore rules, while the installed Sync mod allows players to make additional shells as a way to gain more lives.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 16 Jul 2015). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 16 Jul 2015 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
A Warning in 1 mod
We checked all 53 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
A Warning is not proof of malware.
Wrong result? Tell us.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 53 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 19 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
34 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
