A modpack for smoother play that keeps the familiar vanilla feel.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 56 graded mods, 51 are graded A or B, 3 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 13 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.8. See the mods
DirtTW's Basement Optimize Pack is a mostly client-side optimization pack designed to improve Minecraft performance while keeping the familiar vanilla gameplay intact. Sodium provides performance optimization, while ModernFix is included for faster loading and Spark for profiling performance bottlenecks. Iris adds shader support, and the pack also integrates familiar OptiFine-style features without adding gameplay-altering modifications. For multiplayer, WorldHost helps players connect with friends, while e4mc lets them share singleplayer worlds.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.8 · Fabric, 4 Oct 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 13 Sep 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 56 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 54 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 53 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
