Drehmal is a survival-adventure sandbox built around exploring a hand-designed fantasy world, uncovering its original story and lore, and choosing how to survive and build within it. Its 12,000-by-12,000-block continent contains 31 distinct regions and more than a thousand designed structures, ranging from settlements and coastal towns to dungeons, ruins, castles, and hidden points of interest. The landscape spans orange-dusted savannas, river valleys, ashen crags, crystal forests, tundras, floating islands, and coastal rainforests, with locations shaped by the realm’s long history. Exploration leads to varied activities, including enemy encounters, puzzles, ancient ruins, and powerful bosses, while the main story follows an officer of the fallen Avsohmic Empire who awakens a thousand years later and investigates its sudden collapse. Story progression is connected to finding and linking Terminus towers, which also unlock a hub for teleporting to previously discovered towers, while allowing players to explore and link them in a largely flexible order. Players can find or trade for custom gear, from artifacts and blacksmith-sold artisan items to rare Legendaries and Mythical weapons with distinctive abilities, special attacks, or challenges tied to obtaining them. The world is designed to be played mostly in survival, but players can reshape terrain, build freely, or restore ruins, and the full experience supports solo play or multiplayer with up to eight friends. The experience also features an original soundtrack of more than 50 tracks, with music associated with locations across the world. This Modrinth package contains Drehmal’s dependencies rather than the world file, which must be downloaded separately.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 21 May 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 May 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 24 of its 25 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 24 of its 25 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 24 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
