A modpack that helps the game run smoother and supports shaders.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 38 graded mods, 38 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 5 weeks ago, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
Elixir is a lightweight, client-side modpack designed to improve Minecraft performance while keeping gameplay close to vanilla and making the pack a clean starting point for players who want to add their own mods. Its optimizations target frame rate, memory use, chunk loading, and rendering, while aiming to preserve vanilla world generation, random behavior, mob spawning, and entity pathfinding so farms and redstone contraptions continue to behave as expected. Elixir also focuses on resource-pack compatibility, with support for packs such as Fresh Animations, Dramatic Skys, and Redstone Tweaks, as well as custom entity models, textures, sounds, skyboxes, connected and emissive textures, and configurable pack features. Iris enables shader-pack use, including OptiFine-compatible shader packs, alongside the pack’s performance improvements. Small quality-of-life additions include zoom, a targeted mob’s health on the debug screen, mount HUD improvements, NBT command suggestions, searchable statistics, longer chat history, shulker-box contents in inventory tooltips, and durability tooltips without enabling Advanced Tooltips. The pack is intended to work with vanilla-compatible servers and to serve as a customizable base for other client-side mods or modpacks.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 16 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 15 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 37 of its 38 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 37 of its 38 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 37 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
