Actually makes Minecraft feel like the animated trailers.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 70 graded mods, 55 are graded A or B, 12 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 2.9 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
PromoCinematic is a client-side visual and audio modpack that recreates the look of Minecraft’s animated trailers, using those official trailers as its reference. Its visual setup combines edited Complementary Shaders, the Barebones texture pack, and Fresh Animations, with an Effective mod for trailer-style splashes also noted in the project materials. The pack does not change gameplay, is designed to work alongside other mods, modpacks, and resource packs, and is described as suitable for lower-end hardware and server play.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 27 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 76 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 65 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 65 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
