TerraFirmaRescue Unofficial is a technology-focused Minecraft modpack built around TerraFirmaCraft, GregTech 6, and Advanced Rocketry, with more than 100 mods shaping a progression from primitive survival toward spacefaring technology. Set on Terrafirma, a habitable moon 68.4 light-years from Earth, the story begins with the player stranded and resource-poor; gather materials, expand a base, develop technology, explore the planetary system, and ultimately build a warp engine to return to Earth. More than 1,000 quests guide this progression, while extensive recipe changes combine TerraFirmaCraft survival with GregTech-style industrial development and staged energy progression. The pack adds GT6-styled machines, including original multiblock machines, and emphasizes production lines inspired by real-world technology; the gallery also shows glowing GregTech machines, a Sun Heater, and a large water-based hydropower energy-storage structure. Players can travel to more than ten dimensions or planets with unique resources as they advance from stick-and-stone survival through steam-powered industry toward futuristic machinery.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 3 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 30 Sep 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 29 of its 30 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 30 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
