Just a small modpack for explorers.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 40 graded mods, 31 are graded A or B, 9 C and none D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.15.2. See the mods
Village in the Valley is a modpack for a relaxed, cosy Minecraft experience focused on village life and exploration rather than technology and machines, intended for playing alone or with friends on a server. It adds depth to vanilla gameplay without greatly increasing complexity, combining new environments and seasonal atmosphere through Biomes O’ Plenty, Upgrade Aquatic, Ambient Environment, AmbientSounds 3, and Serene Seasons. Exploration is supported by JourneyMap and Waystones, while Aquaculture 2 expands fishing and Comforts, Extra Boats, and Useful Backpacks provide practical travel and survival options. Quark and Buzzier Bees add further gameplay and world details, and convenience features such as Storage Drawers, Corpse, and Just Enough Items help with storage, recovering dropped items, and checking recipes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.15.2 · Forge, 10 Jun 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 1 May 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 42 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 42 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 40 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
