Aquaculture 2 expands Minecraft fishing with more than 30 fish, many tied to particular environments, that can be caught with vanilla or modded rods or encountered swimming in the wild. Its catches range from freshwater smallmouth bass, bluegill, catfish and muskellunge to arid bayad and Synodontis, arctic cod and halibut, saltwater jellyfish and tuna, and jungle arapaima, piranha and tambaqui; swamp leeches and box turtles and mushroom-island Shroomas add further variety. New fishing rods can be fitted with hooks and bait for added effects, while customizable line and bobbers let players change their appearance; the Tackle Box stores fishing gear and provides a place to attach rod equipment. Bait such as worms, minnows and leeches can improve fishing chances, and a craftable worm farm supplies worms for bait. Fish can be processed into fillets with a filet knife, with the yield varying by fish and optionally by its weight; fishing also turns up items such as driftwood, lockboxes, treasure chests and Neptune’s Bounty. Neptune’s Bounty can contain Neptunium equipment or ingots, and Neptunium armor and tools have distinct underwater abilities, including improved underwater breathing, swimming and mining.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 5 blocks, 121 items, 34 mobs, 2 projectiles, 58 recipes, 49 loot tables and 17 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
An AI tool may have been used
GitHub Copilot (code review) took part in its pull requests.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Mods that modpacks often add together with Aquaculture 2. Share: how many of the modpacks with Aquaculture 2 also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
