About
Better 3D Blocks is a resource pack that replaces Minecraft’s block, object, and entity models with more dimensional designs while retaining the game’s base textures and vanilla visual style. Its vanilla model updates cover blocks and details such as bricks, planks, metal blocks, lanterns and chains, stairs, fences, bars, ladders, workstations, flowers, and portal frames. The pack also extends model support to Ecologics, Biomes O’ Plenty, and BetterNether, including wood sets with matching building pieces and crafting tables; examples include Ecologics’ coconut and walnut woods, Biomes O’ Plenty’s fir, maple, and mahogany woods, and BetterNether’s gloomwood, nether sakura, and stalagnate woods. Models are made with an emphasis on adding depth without straying from Minecraft’s style or causing unnecessary performance loss, and the pack is compatible with shaders.
