Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 175 graded mods, 124 are graded A or B, 33 C and 18 D to F. Its last update came out 23 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Better VR is a modpack that uses Vivecraft to bring Minecraft to VR, aiming to make the game feel designed for immersive headset play rather than simply adapting its usual first-person view. It adds realistically rendered held items, extra sound effects, dynamic lighting and physics, while revamping structures and enhancing terrain generation, block rendering, animations and visual effects. The pack is designed to take advantage of high-performance PCs, but its settings can be adjusted for less powerful machines, and built-in voice chat supports multiplayer communication.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 14 Nov 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 26 Oct 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 175 of its 176 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 161 of its 162 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 11 of the 134 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
28 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
