Better GUI is a resource pack that gives Minecraft buttons, menus, and interfaces a darker visual style, using button designs from Bedrock Edition. It replaces the player inventory, achievements and main menu, along with interfaces for common activities and blocks such as crafting, enchanting, brewing, smithing, chests, furnaces, villagers, horses, and shulker boxes. It also restyles interfaces for ReplayMod, Iris Shaders, ModMenu, Screenshot Viewer, Recursive Resources, EMF, ETF, Camera Utils, Cloth Config API, Fabric API, and owo-lib. The pack supports English and Russian; the listed mod and block interface replacements require OptiFine.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 339 interface textures and the font.
Adds 19 item textures, 32 interface textures and 2 language files. In OptiFine's formats: 40 other files. Also has files for 13 other mods: Voicechat, Owo, Camerautils and 10 more.
Textures are mostly 20 by 20 pixels, up to 256 by 256.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
