Glowing is a resource pack that makes selected vanilla blocks and objects appear emissive, adding visible highlights without replacing the underlying game content. Its glowing details cover ores, including ancient debris and gilded blackstone, raw ore blocks, redstone components, lapis and redstone blocks, all four amethyst growth stages, chorus flowers, structure and command blocks, enchanting tables, brewing stands, and end portal frames when an eye of ender is inserted. The pack also features themed visuals shown for caves, the Nether, oceans, trial areas, amethyst geodes, the Deep Dark, Crimson Forest, Warped Forest, soul fire and related lights, and armor trims. It provides Vanilla CoreShaders, OptiFine-style, and ConnectedTextureMod formats, with the Vanilla and OptiFine formats supporting blocks, items, and entities, while the ConnectedTextureMod format supports blocks only. The pack targets vanilla content; support for modded content is described as a separate project rather than part of Glowing itself.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 2 models.
Adds 373 block textures, 408 item textures, 36 mob and entity textures, 2,288 armor trim textures and 9 models. In OptiFine's formats: 1,550 glowing textures.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels. 80 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
An AI tool may have been used
Cursor is named in the ignore list of its repository.
This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
