Distinct item textures! See the secrets your items hold.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Visuals is a resource pack that gives items with extra data distinct textures, making their variants and other stored details visible at a glance; it also includes data-aware textures for selected blocks. Its broadest collection is spawn eggs, with appearances for mob variants such as axolotl colors, cat breeds, horse and wolf coats, sheep colors, villager biomes, and the different sizes of slimes and magma cubes. Buckets also show creature details, including axolotl colors and salmon sizes, while tropical fish buckets reflect their fish patterns and colors. Other item variations cover armor trims, paintings, potion effects on suspicious stew and tipped arrows, firework shapes and effects, crossbow ammunition, goat-horn instruments, and bundle fullness. Textures also distinguish details such as map types, book size and generation, named or unnamed name tags, compass tracking, and the honey level of bee nests and beehives. Some spawn eggs represent multiple possible variants with a “+X” marker, indicating how many additional variants they can spawn. Polytone enables the pack’s informative spawn eggs to appear in the creative inventory, and its texture changes can be selectively disabled by sub-pack.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 33 block textures, 1,272 item textures, 77 armor trim textures, 8,251 models, 3 language files and 92 other files.
Has no files in OptiFine's formats or for other mods.
33 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Fewer modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 3 a month now, 6 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
Modpacks that include Visuals in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Visuals. Share: how many of the modpacks with Visuals also have that mod.
