About
Amethyst Shaders is a semi-realistic, vibrant-style shaderpack based on Complementary Reimagined, with an optional Unbound visual style. It makes daytime skies bluer, gives clouds a thick shiny outline, and increases the vibrancy of blocks; the Nether has stronger contrast, while the End has brighter beams, more stars, and a blue-purple sky. Rain can reveal light rays around luminous blocks such as Nether portals, and modified pixelated shadows are included in the default profile. The shaderpack supports Distant Horizons and PBR, and is built and tested with Iris, with some OptiFine compatibility that may not support every feature correctly. The project is still in an early alpha state, so users may encounter bugs.
