About
Zayko Shaders is a Minecraft Java shader pack focused on detailed visuals that can be tuned to balance image quality and performance. It supports PBR materials compatible with labPBR resource packs, reflections, and emissive textures for blocks, mobs, and some items; emissive blocks contribute light to their surroundings. Players can adjust effects individually or choose profiles ranging from Very Low to Ultra, and the pack works with Iris and OptiFine. Its visual options include six distinct designs: Zayko, AMC, Radiant, Endear, OBS, and Evocative, with looks ranging from restrained vanilla-like lighting to vivid, pastel, recording-friendly, or dreamy treatments. The night sky features 5,044 stars based on the Yale Bright Star Catalogue, placed with their real positions, brightness, and colours; constellations shift over a yearly cycle as the sky turns. Clouds have rounded, billowing forms and can cast ground shadows, reveal sunbeams through gaps, and be paired with an optional high-altitude cirrus layer; weather can also vary the sky's mood from day to day. Water effects include sun, moon, and star reflections, small ripples, natural-looking depth colouring, and optional refraction dispersion and rain wetness. Voxel coloured lighting lets sources such as torches, glowstone, soul fire, sea lanterns, and end rods tint nearby surroundings, with light blending smoothly and spreading around corners. Additional atmosphere and appearance controls include sky presets, optional volumetric fog, selectable tone mapping, and effects such as sharpening and night vision.
