    About

    E-LITE shaders is a customizable edit of MakeUp - Ultra Fast that adds visual effects and flexible quality profiles while aiming to retain good performance across a range of PCs. Its lighting and scenery effects include casting and colored shadows, godrays, ambient occlusion, fog, bloom, motion blur, depth of field, optional auto-exposure, and screen-space reflections on blocks and water. Players can switch between a Natural style intended for a more realistic look and a Vanilla style that preserves Minecraft’s familiar aesthetic, and can choose color schemes that change the sky and lighting. Profiles range from Minimum, described as a pure shader, to higher-quality settings that progressively add effects at a performance cost; separate Basic, Lighting, Effects, Misc, and Info screens organize the options. Other distinctive options include adjustable seasons, aurora borealis, a round sun, near fog, and pixel-locked shadows, while LabPBR adds support for reflections, lighting normal maps, and parallax occlusion mapping. It also supports Distant Horizons and Voxy when used with Iris, and includes support for some mods such as Create and Botania.
