About
Cobblemon Shiny Effects is a datapack addon that helps players notice shiny Pokémon by combining visual, sound, and chat cues. Wild shinies produce an initial sparkle effect and chat notification with the Pokémon’s name and nearest player, followed by continuing particles that improve visibility at night and occasional directional sparkle sounds to help players locate them. Previously captured shinies instead have a smaller particle effect and quieter, lower-pitched spawn sound, with no chat notification or continuing effects, distinguishing them from wild shinies.
