About
Cobblemon Fight or Flight makes Pokémon respond to player aggression by either fighting back or fleeing after being attacked or after a failed capture attempt; their response depends on their offensive and defensive stats, level, and nature. Some especially aggressive Pokémon attack nearby players without waiting to be provoked, while Pokémon with higher Speed can run faster and higher Defense can reduce incoming damage. Attacks also have type-based effects: Fire can set players alight, Ice can freeze them, Poison can poison them, Psychic can levitate them, Fairy, Fighting, and Steel can inflict weakness, Ground and Rock can cause mining fatigue, Ghost and Dark can cause darkness, Electric and Water can slow them, Bug can cause hunger, Grass can grant the Pokémon regeneration, Flying can increase knockback, and Dragon can deal extra damage. Pokémon with higher Special Attack than Attack can use ranged attacks, with projectiles shaped by special moves they know or, otherwise, by their primary type; explosive moves can cause explosions, and a panicked Pokémon that knows Teleport can escape to a nearby spot. A Poke Staff lets players select moves for their Pokémon, including directing a special attacker to fight in melee, while Pokémon can also taunt attackers using moves such as Taunt, Follow Me, Rage Powder, or Torment. Outside Pokémon battles, a player's Pokémon can gain experience and EVs by delivering the final blow to another Pokémon, and kills can yield items and experience like those from a tamed wolf; the Oran Lucky Egg boosts experience from these kills.
