About
Ad-Astra: Giselle Addon extends Ad Astra with convenience items, machines, survival upgrades, and integrations with other technology mods. Oxygen Cans store and transfer oxygen, can refill armor and compatible inventory items, and provide an oxygen HUD when used with a spacesuit; a Netherite Oxygen Can is suited to hot planets. A Sliding Door Key locks or unlocks Sliding, Reinforced, and Airlock doors, with locked doors then controlled by redstone. Its Fuel Loader supplies nearby rovers and rockets from fluid fuel, while an Automation NASA Workbench accepts ingredients and outputs rockets through hoppers or pipes for automation with Applied Energistics 2 or Refined Storage. A Gravity Normalizer adjusts living entities’ gravity, and a Rocket Sensor reports the state of a nearby rocket as a comparator signal. Craftable enchantments add space breathing, protection from hot-planet fire and Venus’s acid rain, or gravity normalization; breathing requires an enabled Oxygen Can in the player’s inventory. Compatibility adds corresponding survival features as Mekanism MekaSuit modules, PneumaticCraft armor upgrades, and Tinkers’ Construct armor modifiers, while Create backtanks and jetpacks can serve as oxygen sources. Other integrations add Industrial Foregoing ore-laser and fluid-layer recipes, Applied Energistics 2 recipes for crushing or smelting Sky Stone, and fuel support for fluids including Tech Reborn diesel and biofuel, Thermal Expansion Refined Fuel, and Oritech Turbofuel.
