A classic modpack with quests, magic, exploration, combat, and technology.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 399 graded mods, 283 are graded A or B, 93 C and 23 D to F. Its last update came out 2.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
This author published several projects at once on Modrinth: up to 12 projects published within 2 weeks. 12 of the author's 39 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
Prominence™ Classic is a content-rich modpack that brings combat, exploration, magic, and technology together, with custom content and quests to guide play. Its combat is enhanced with Better Combat, while tech mods support automation and magic lets players pursue styles such as wizard, sorcerer, witch, or caster. Exploration features extensive world generation, more than 1,000 structures including dangerous dungeons and bosses, eight additional dimensions, and distant planets to visit with Ad Astra. The pack's quests include dedicated or overhauled questlines for the Bumblezone, Tech Reborn, the Explorer's Journal, and Create. Its added content includes dimensions and world-expansion mods such as BetterEnd, the Aether and Deep Aether, Twilight Forest-related content, Bygone Nether, Nether Depths Upgrade, and Endless Biomes, alongside structures from Dungeons and Taverns and Dungeons Enhanced. The modpack also includes built-in shader options, including Complementary, Insanity, Pastel, and Rethinking Voxels. It is designed for multiplayer, whether played with friends on a private server or on its official SMP.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · NeoForge, 12 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 26 May 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 400 of its 401 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 376 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 35 of the 313 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
63 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
