    Additional Placements Fabric extends the placement behavior of existing blocks, adding new orientations without introducing new items. Slabs and stairs can be placed vertically, while carpets and pressure plates can be placed on walls and ceilings; vertical stairs connect to neighboring stairs. It supports most modded blocks, and includes data-generation helpers for creating blockstates and block and item models when extra compatibility is needed.
