The Portal Gun from Portal 1 and Portal 2 and more.
58.7 of the 71 points that apply = 83 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Aperture Innovations brings the Portal games’ handheld portal device to Minecraft, letting you fire primary and secondary portals and travel between them. Portal guns can be customized with dye-colored gels and an extensive variant system that changes portal and gun textures and sounds; guns can also cycle between dual-portal and single-portal modes, and singular devices can be paired to another gun’s portals. The mod also adds Long Fall Boots, which protect against fall and kinetic-impact damage, with configuration options for energy use and consumption. Portal-gun settings can control whether portals require supporting surfaces or energy, their shooting range, and energy consumption, making the mod configurable for map-makers and technology-focused modpacks. Other Portal-inspired additions include Weighted Storage and Companion Cubes, pedestal and large buttons, antlines, and checkmark and timer output blocks; the portal gun can also pick up small entities.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act., PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules..
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
