Arcanus is a magic mod focused on letting players craft their own spells and cast them through a staff-based system. Players begin their magical journey by finding a Wizard Tower, wearing a wizard hat, and speaking with the wizard at its top; knowledge scrolls from the wizard unlock spell shapes and effects for crafting. To build a spell, place a spell book on a lectern and chain shapes, which determine how effects reach a target, with effects such as damage or freezing; a self shape affects the caster, while a projectile shape applies effects to what it hits. Spells are selected and cast using combinations of mouse inputs mapped to eight staff slots, and their square and circle symbols appear around the caster's crosshair and in front of other players. Spell power is limited by mana cost, and the mod includes an in-game Compendium Arcanus and configuration options for disabling individual spell shapes or effects.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Uses your Minecraft login
We read its code without running it: your login goes only to Mojang's own login service, as in the game itself.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
