A dragon adventure with Isle of Berk, ship building, Create, magic and automated storage.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 50 graded mods, 33 are graded A or B, 14 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 4 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
How to Train Your Dragon: The Second Part is a dragon-focused adventure modpack that combines exploration with building and developing a home base. Its dragon experience centers on Isle of Berk and adds Isle of Berk Addons, Variant Loader, Archipelago Additions, Infernos, and Dragon Eye. Valkyrien Skies and Eureka let you build ships, while Create and the Thermal Series support engineering and production at your base. Ars Nouveau and Blood Magic provide alternative approaches to magic and character development, and Applied Energistics 2, wireless terminals, AE Additions, and Sophisticated Backpacks help organize materials at home or on the move. Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Dynamic Trees, Aquaculture, Waystones, and Corail Tombstone add exploration variety and travel conveniences.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 1 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 17 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 51 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 45 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 other mod shows AI use only from after this release (1 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
6 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
