Isle of Berk is a Minecraft modpack that recreates the feel of the How to Train Your Dragon films through dragon-focused exploration across a water-dominated archipelago. The world features challenging dungeons that span from their peaks to their deepest levels, along with Viking ships and villages and structures on land and at sea, where exploration can lead to treasure. Along the way, players can seek powerful weapons, raid villages, grow and harvest more than 50 types of food, and choose a home such as a volcanic peak or a dragon hunter’s ship.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 16 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 1 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 143 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 133 of its 134 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 121 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
13 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
