    About

    Artisan Automation adds the Mechanical Artisan, a powered machine that automates recipes made with Artisan Worktables by using written Design Patterns from the Designer’s tables. Set an Artisan Worktable in its table slot and supply power, pattern items, ingredients, and any recipe-specific fluids through the Power Converter beneath it; the machine then crafts the selected recipes over time. It supports recipe outputs, up to 26 input items, fluid tanks, and up to twelve recipe tools, with inventory and tank locks to restrict which items or fluids are accepted. Output handling can keep items in the machine, expose them for extraction through connected converters, or return them to its inventory, while an upgrade enables automatic export to adjacent inventories. Additional upgrades can change crafting speed, energy use and capacity, and fluid capacity, as well as automate item and fluid import; a Mechanical Toolbox and repair upgrades let the machine spend power and materials to restore recipe tools.
